In his personal life, Evan is very active in his church and in Scouting. At Fairfax United Methodist Church, Evan serves as a Trustee and as Chair of the Memorials Committee. In Scouting, Evan serves as the Activities and Civic Service Chair and Webelos-to-Scout Transition Chair for the George Mason District, and is an active archery instructor for the National Capital Area Council. Evan lives in Clifton with his wife, Julia, and their son, Timothy. Julia's parents have also lived with them since 1997.
